Making life colourful

JZ Flowers supports Strictly Learn to Dance

Dove House Hospice have recently crowned the winners of their charity Strictly Learn to Dance event and JZ Flowers were proud to donate the FAB-U-LOUS bouquets presented to new dancing champions.

The format of the event, which took place at Hull City Hall on November 19, saw 24 dancers placed into couples. After 12 weeks of training, the couples performed two dances each in front of a full-capacity City Hall audience of family and friends, before being judged and the winners crowned.

The hospice has a team of mentors from Ballroom Blitz Dance Academy who support the dancers to be ready for the live event. These mentors provide their time free of charge and offer extra sessions for the dancers as well as providing advice on outfits. JZ Flowers was delighted to donate further bouquets which were presented to the mentors as a token of appreciation.

The event was due to take place back in March 2020 but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the event was delayed. Dove House Hospice will soon be launching their 2022 event which is due to take place on April 1.
